PROGRAM COORDINATOR - INSTRUCTION
Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for growing the Wings mission and increasing our impact by creating an inviting, fun, challenging, and energizing atmosphere for the Day Program offered to Wings Members.

Responsibilities:
· Work with Executive Program Director to develop curriculum, including scope & sequence, for new & existing Day Program programs
· Responsible for interviewing, on-boarding, and supervising all new Instructors and paid Substitutes
· Provide on-going supervision of Instructors, including regular supervision meetings, evaluation review, and corrective action plan follow-up as needed
· Oversee and support Instructors in weekly lesson planning, In/Out coordination, day-to-day program room/rotation management
· Mentor Instructors on teaching best practices and curriculum goals/objectives development
· Monitor weekly and monthly Instructor requirements, including curriculum submissions, correspondence, monthly grading procedures and data tracking
· Manage Instructor coverage when paid Substitutes are necessary
· Partner with Program Coordinator – Members to research, develop, and provide regular trainings to Instructors on managing behavioral issues and processes
· Partner with Program Coordinator – Partnerships to ensure volunteer support for Instructors
· Substitute for all instructor-led Day Program programs (as needed)
· Assist as driver for Wings transportation (as needed)
· Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed by self, volunteers and Members
· Ability to maintain professional working relationships with staff, parents, and volunteers
· Support the strategic goals of the Wings organization
· All other duties as may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
· Curriculum objective and goal development using scope and sequence preferred
· Lesson planning experience required
· Organized, attention to detail, flexible and adaptable
· Leadership and communication skills
· Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to work and plan independently
· Comfortable leading, as well as being a team player
Requirements:
· Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary
· Completion of continued education training (offered by organization)
· Ability to work with and empower volunteers to increase capacity
· Meet physical requirements to safely perform assigned duties
· Ability to drive 15-passenger van
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or prior experience working with the Developmental Disabilities community
