The “Thriving Together” campaign began in October 2021, and momentum has been growing steadily thanks to the talented and passionate group of founders, board members, and friends who comprise the campaign committee. Each member of the committee believes in the mission and ministry of Wings and is committed to seeing this campaign through to a successful conclusion.
The vision behind this master plan is to build a thriving community for our members. To make this vision a reality, we have crafted a phased-based approach to the project. Our first phase includes an eighteen-million-dollar investment, which will be used for site development, construction of the entry, an educational and programming building, community commons and chapel, and one residential ranch home. Additional funds will be reserved for operational support and a capital reserve.
The mission of Wings is to enhance the lives of adults with developmental disabilities through social, vocational, and residential programs. The team at Wings recognizes our members’ God-given gifts and helps them be everything that God created them to be.
Many families choose to send their adult children out of state for thriving, vibrant community options. Our desire is for Oklahoma families to have this kind of option right here at home.
